Sunstream’s "Laser eye" system is a watering system that uses sun and/or wind power to run the pump. This system can be used in any remote area on your ranch or farm. The "Laser eye" system is used on a wet well with a drain-back water bowl. When cattle come to the bowl and step into the eye's beam, the pump turns on and fills the water bowl. Once the animal (s) have had their fill and step away from the bowl, the pump turns off, and all the water in the bowl drains back into the wet well, leaving no water on the surface to freeze in winter. This system is wired up and ready to go. While the system works great year-round, it is designed to water cattle in the winter months as it is freeze-proof.
